Sent in a pair of 50-year old Zeiss binoculars for repair. Sent on Friday, received back the following Friday (with a bank holiday in between). Repaired and serviced free-of-charge. Thought this level of customer service had gone out with the Ark. Would not hesitate to recommend them and big thumbs up to Zeiss for backing their products for so long - a great partnership.
I have used Gary previously to service my Zeiss Duralyt scope. So when I was recently gifted a pair of Zeiss binos with a locked solid focus ring, I knew who my first call would be to. As usual he took the binos in, fully serviced them and posted them back to me within a short timeframe. Brilliant service, and all covered by Zeiss. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gary and East Coast Binoculars to anyone who wants to deal with a knowledgeable and experienced optical technician.

The focus adjustment had loosened on these binoculars that I have owned for longer than I can remember. They were fixed by Gary, including replacement of unstuck armour, a clean and overall check, and then returned with a completely new Zeiss strap. All within about three weeks. Can't praise this level of service enough.
Sent in my old Zeiss binocular for a small repair to tighten the loose hinge. Not only did Gary correct the problem of the hinge but he also replaced the loose rubber armour plus the eyecups, carried out a full service and checked all functionality. On top of that he provided a new rainguard and strap. Couldn’t be more grateful.
I cannot praise you enough. My beloved Zeiss 7x42 binoculars are over 30 years old, so to have them back repaired only five days after posting them is impressive, but to receive them looking almost as good as new and with the unexpected bonus of a new rain guard and strap is quite amazing. I contacted Gary to see about replacing the rain guard on my Zeiss binoculars. He said he had one available and would send it out. Despite the postal strikes it arrived within a few days. Service as good as this is rare these days. I would have no hesitation in using East Coast Binocular Repairs again or in recommending them to others.
