Zeiss Victory 8x32 service and repair

Outstanding work done by Gary and the team. Binoculars are back in what seems to be better condition than the day I bought them.
Couldn’t ask for more.

Five old porros

I dropped off 5 pairs of old Porro prism binoculars to Gary
Zeiss west 8x30, Kershaw Olympic 8x30, Leitz binuxit 8x30, Nikon A 8x30 and a Nikon 7x35. Some of these are from the 1950s problems included collimation issues, fungus and internal dust and haze.
Every pair came back to me in A* condition. I suspect some were better than the day they were made.
A huge thank you.
Would recommend without hesitation.

A very good repair

A repair carried out on my Leica binoculars. It took about eight weeks but well worth the wait. They arrived back with me very well packed and a very good repair carried out. The repair cost much less than expected for such a professional service.

I returned a much loved pair of Zeiss binoculars - thought they were beyond repair. They are no longer made and pre-date the Berlin wall fall. After a few weeks patient waiting (not helped by the Covid crisis) they were returned and the quality and sharpness of image are like new. I was amazed and totally delighted. The whole process was carried out with a quiet professionalism and I felt confident about handing over such a valuable personal item. I cannot rate the team too highly. Many thanks.

Very good indeed

Almost 40 years ago I bought a Mirador 8x42 binocular. A modest but good middle of the road performer. Over the years it suffered internal fungus and all sorts of bumps and bangs. I was told more than once that cleaning/repair was not economical. I sent the binocular to East Coast, the repair/cleaning was turned around in less than a week and the cost was more than reasonable. I would recommend East Coast unreservedly. In fact, I've jsut done so to a colleague this evening, May21.

Nikon repair

EXCELLENT. The word sums it up. I phoned and spoke to Gary about the problem and he thought the repair may cost £40 - £50. I sent the binoculars off and Gary called me to say that they had received them and that his revised estimate was £22. A week later they are back and I am absolutely pleased as punch. Yes - the invoice was £22 plus postage whereas I would not have been unhappy about £40 as per the phone call. Brilliant, HONEST service which unfortunately is a rarity nowadays. Thank you 100%
